Registration is open for a workshop on drying flowers and foliages, to be held at Kingwood Center on Tuesday, August 5, from 1:30 to 3 PM in Kingwood Hall. Cost of the class is $8, members and volunteers pay $6, and must accompany registration. Charles Applegate, Kingwood’s Senior Gardener, will show how to dry different flowers and foliages which can be used in dried floral designs, on wreaths, and in other craft projects.
