The Kingwood grounds have a variety of annuals that have been planted in many unique combinations. Annual flowering bedding plants, herbs, vegetables and indoor house plants have all been used to create these striking designs on the walk. On Saturday, August 9, from 1:30 to 3 p.m., Bill Collins, Kingwood’s Education Coordinator, will show and talk about these combinations. The walk will start at the Gate House, which is just off the Park Avenue Entrance, and is free of charge, but advance registration is requested.
